PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Radian Guaranty Inc., a leading private mortgage insurer, announced today that Andrew T. Rippert has been promoted to senior vice president, international mortgages. In this position, Rippert is responsible for leading Radian's effort to provide credit enhancement on mortgage transactions outside the U.S.

Rippert joined Radian in June 2001, as vice president, credit and risk analytics, responsible for developing credit standards on new products and risk assessment and modeling, from Deloitte & Touche, where he served three years as senior manager. In April of this year, Rippert transferred to Radian's Global Mortgage Finance group as vice president, international mortgages, in order to leverage opportunities in international mortgage markets.

Rippert earned a bachelor's degree in physics from Drexel University and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
